Stephen Bradley has been at the heart of the Meaghers Pharmacy on Baggot Street, Dublin and nearby surrounding area for a number of years providing attention, time and most importantly clinical expertise to all those who come into the pharmacy.
One nominee says of him, “Stephen has a wealth of experience in all aspects of pharmacy from general pharmacy management, clinical knowhow, and is a keen advocate of services including many ran by the Meaghers Pharmacy Group, such as 24 blood pressure monitoring, flu, pneumonia, shingles and COVID vaccinations, and compounding extemporaneous products.
“He makes a point going above and beyond for those who ask to speak with him, finding solutions whether that be immediate or not. Not only that but he inspires all staff within the pharmacy to show a similar interest in serving the community.
“Stephen goes the extra mile when he’s on site, always with a positive attitude. Recently there have been two cases of anaphylaxis within a small number of weeks apart in his
workplace. Both these were expertly dealt with. Stephen delivered emergency medicine in both cases and ensured safe transfer to urgent care with the help of emergency services.
“Having been lucky enough to work alongside Stephen for more than two years both as a student and support pharmacist, I find it appropriate that he’s shown the appreciation he
deserves for incredible dedication to the community. I think a people’s pharmacist should not only look after patients or customers, but also his staff and truthfully Stephen is an example of this.”
