Fleming Medical, Munster Rugby’s official Medical Supplies partner, are supporting the province further with the sponsorship of the pitch-side Medicare medical buggy based at Irish Independent Park.
Munster Rugby’s Duncan Williams, Sammy Arnold and Kevin O’Byrne joined Mark Fleming, MD & Kieran Quinn, Marketing Manager of Fleming Medical along with Doug Howlett, Munster Rugby Head of Commercial and Marketing at the sponsorship launch at Irish Independent Park ahead of Munster’s Guinness PRO14 clash against the Southern Kings.
The Medicare medical buggy ensures the safe removal of injured players from the pitch and is a valuable medical resource at the venue.
Fleming Medical’s latest sponsorship is a further development of a three-year partnership with the province. The partnership also includes the naming of the Physiologix Treatment Room in the Munster Rugby High Performance Centre at the University of Limerick.
Munster Rugby uses Physiologix tapes and supports as their first choice for taping of players both on and off the pitch. Each Physiologix product has been developed and designed to provide firm support that enables effective stabilisation and effective compression for the user.
Founded by CEO, Mark Fleming 30 years ago in Limerick, Fleming Medical now employs more than 60 people and is a trusted partner for Irish and pharmacists and healthcare providers in the delivery of quality healthcare products.
Commenting on the sponsorship Doug Howlett, Munster Rugby Head of Commercial and Marketing said, “We are grateful to Fleming Medical for their continued support of Munster Rugby and it is great to see this partnership developing further with the latest sponsorship of our medical buggy in Irish Independent Park”.
Mark Fleming, MD Fleming Medical said, “Sponsoring the medical buggy in Cork further shows our commitment to supporting Munster Rugby as their medical supplies partner”.
