Introducing DIVOC-91
An annual listing of the Top Pharmacy and Industry professionals across Ireland, has been announced.
This year, frontline pharmacy and pharma industry professionals are being recognised in Irish Pharmacy News (IPN) DIVOC-91, for their work during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Community pharmacists and their teams, alongside industry professionals, have stepped up to the plate in embracing and adopting new ways of working, facing the challenges brought about by the pandemic and turning them into opportunities.
Appearing in their December magazine, the annual list celebrates Ireland’s top achievers across Irish pharmacy, who act as ambassadors and role models for their peers and colleagues.
Editor of Irish Pharmacy News, Kelly-Jo Eastwood said:
“From working on the front-line in Ireland’s Pharmacies to adapting innovative practices for the betterment of the profession and community, never has there been a more opportune time to recognise the unwavering excellence and dedication of Ireland’s pharmacy professionals.
“There was an outpouring of nominations throughout the sector and while each healthcare professional deserves to be recognised, the final list of professionals have displayed inspirational leadership affecting the development of pharmacy services across Ireland.”
Earlier this year, the Irish Pharmacy Awards (IPA), an annual well-anticipated event celebrating pharmacy teams was postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic. Speaking on this, Managing Director of IPN Communications, Natalie Maginnis said,
“The IPAs are the most influential and respected networking event, recognising excellence, innovation and delivery within pharmacy care in Ireland. While we remain hopeful these will resume next year, DIVOC-91 2020 will be a fitting celebration of pharmacy professionals across Ireland in what has been an incredibly difficult year.”
