How to enter?
We have an online entry system that is a simple and straight forward. The application to enter the awards is below:

What Products can be entered?
All entries must consist of an application form and the physical product, containing at least 3 items.
What does entry cost?
Entry costs €650 per product entered into one of the 21 main categories.
The Judging panel
• Buying groups
• National multiple pharmacy chains
• Local pharmacy chains
• Independent pharmacy
Judges will be looking for various attributes — such as innovation, attractiveness, value for money, clear labelling and much more.

There are 21 categories:

2. Best Children and Baby Product
3. Best Non Oral Pain Relief
4. Best Pain Relief
5. Best Irish Pharmacy Brand Product
6. Best Natural Product
7. Best Oral Health Product
8. Best Skincare Product
9. Best Women’s Product
10. Best Beauty Product
11. Best Cough, Cold and Flu Product
12. Best Digestive Product
13. Best Hair, Nail and Scalp Health Product
14. Best VMS Product
15. Best Eye Care Product
16. Best Tanning Product
17. Best Marketing Campaign
18. Most Innovative Product
19. Best Pharmacy Only Product
20. Best Pharmacy Training Initiative of the Year
21. Best Launch of the Year Product
Entrants wishing to suggest a new category may do so, and it will be added in the event of sufficient interest.

The OTC & Retail Pharmacy Product Awards 2021 is going virtual and you’re all invited!
To support the efforts to reduce the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), and in line with government guidance, the Awards will celebrate OTC Products tha have and continue to work tirelessly during these challenging conditions.
Whilst we are disappointed not to be hosting a physical event this year, we are none the less excited to celebrate OTC Products and their teams. Our virtual awards will tell the story of these remarkable pharmacy products.
