The event was organised by the Centre for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP), a globally focused non-profit that aims to increase clinical research awareness and overall health literacy, particularly among those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The team have been actively working with research and charity groups throughout the country these past few months to organise AWARE for All.
Participating organisations include: Health Research Board – Clinical Research Coordination Ireland (HRB – CRCI), the Medical Research Charities Group (MRCG), Longboat, The Wheel, Cystic Fibrosis Ireland, Sickle Cell Society Ireland, Alpha-1 Foundation Ireland, Irish Health Research Forum, Cancer Trials Ireland, Trinity College, Boots Pharmacy, IPPOSI, Merck, ICON, and the Medical Research Network in the UK.
