Pharmacy Professionals Driving Change Recognised at Irish Pharmacy Awards

DUBLIN, May 2025 – The achievements of Ireland’s pharmacy professionals took centre stage this month as winners across 13 categories were honoured at the 2025 Irish Pharmacy Awards.

Organised annually by Irish Pharmacy News, Ireland’s only independent monthly publication dedicated to community pharmacy, the awards shine a spotlight on the individuals and teams driving excellence, innovation, and patient care in the sector.

Now in its 13th year, the prestigious awards ceremony took place on Saturday, May 24th, 2025 at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin. Hosted by Marty Whelan, the event gathered leaders, innovators, and changemakers from across the pharmacy profession for a night of recognition and celebration.

The Irish pharmacy industry has long been a cornerstone of community health – never more so than in recent years. From playing a vital role during the pandemic, to delivering new models of care, the profession has proven just how indispensable it truly is.

These Awards celebrate the best and brightest in the pharmacy industry whilst recognising the extraordinary innovation that continues to shape and strengthen the sector in Ireland.

Speaking at the event, Natalie Maginnis, Managing Director of IPN Communications, highlighted the importance of recognising those who go above and beyond:

“What’s most striking about these Awards is the sheer depth of talent and dedication we see year after year. This isn’t just an industry; it’s a community – built on trust, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to patient care. Our judges truly had a difficult task.

“I would also like to acknowledge the sponsors of the Irish Pharmacy Awards. Their commitment sends a strong message — they believe in and are actively investing in the future of Irish pharmacy.

“Tonight, we brought together individuals and teams who are quietly transforming healthcare — from behind the counter, in clinics, and within communities across the country. That deserves to be recognised and more importantly, supported.”
